Yes. We are aware that life is about way more than clothes. But we still refuse to deny ourselves a chance to wear stuff that looks great and makes us feel terrific. We stamp our foot and refuse! Fat acceptance is self acceptance, people. Part of self-acceptance means admitting we deserve to look good in the size we wear now.
That’s why a big part of having a local fat acceptance community is sharing advice about where to get clothes that actually fit our bodies. Shopping can be really difficult when fashionable clothes only go up to size 10! We post reviews of the places in town where we buy clothes, as well as links to and occasionally reviews of online retailers we’ve tried. And we’ll try to keep you all updated when we notice something we love on sale.
To find our reviews, look for items categorized “Local Fatshion,” or “Online Fatshion.”
